Showcasing excellence and creativity in the field of music, Banda ni Kali of the City College of Calapan celebrated a proud moment as they brought home ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐ and ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง against eight (8) competing schools from the region at the 2024 MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress held in Marinduque State University, Boac, Marinduque last September 6. The said event was an initiative of the Higher Education-Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (CHED-UniFAST) MIMAROPA with a theme, โEstudyanteng MIMAROPA: Linangin at Hubugin sa pamamagitan ng Sining at Edukasyon tungo sa Maunlad na Bukasโ. Their original composition titled, โEstudyanteng MIMAROPA: Kinabukasaโy itatayoโ talks about resiliency and talent amidst the challenges in education. This beautifully weaved composition have undoubtedly resounded more than just lyrics and melody. Truly, the members of the band (Charles Hernandez, Arvin Glenn Sotejo, Jemuel Caringal, Shane Frederick Umali, Adrian Pagcaliwagan and Ezekiel Arandia) have captured the hearts of the judges during the competition.
